Named for her grandmother who introduced her to champagne, Winnifred’s is a one of a kind Champagne Bar and French Bistro located in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.

Winnifred’s is first and foremost about Champagne. Here you can enjoy an extensive array of around 15,000 bottles, over 360 cuvées from more than 63 growers and Grande Marque houses. An ever-changing ‘by-the-glass’ selection makes every visit a memorable, and adventurous experience.
The Winnifred’s spirit is all about joie de vivre – the exuberant enjoyment of life – the small moments and the milestones, the ups and the downs. It’s like being welcomed with open arms to your second home, the one with the much larger cellar that rewards repeat exploration.
The brand is a love letter to the blended and shared visual language of Champagne and Brisbane, playing on the typographic vernacular of street signage from both France and Australia. We paired this with an ensemble colour palette that heroes the flexibility and uniqueness of the spaces in the venue, and brought in a dynamic monogram device that combines heritage originals with contemporary styles and references. It even includes the logo Megan has been using for her personal brand for years. The brand is designed to grow, develop and change, much like wine, and much like the family behind it all. They’re mixed and matched throughout the venue, so if a glass breaks, it’s no worry! It’s eclectic, practical, warm and friendly, just like Winnifred herself.
Every piece of this brand is inspired by centuries of tradition in Champagne being remastered by a new and exciting cohort of growers, and the indomitable spirit of Megan, the driving force behind this incredible venue.
